FINLAND: Tax calendar, November 2016

November started, according VERO SKATT information about important dates and deadlines for corporate taxpayers CONSOLTA reminds the most important dates in November:
  • November 7th
  • September 2016 reporting on construction details must arrive to the Tax Administration.
  • September 2016 VAT, seafarer’s employer’s contributions and Lottery tax: if Periodic tax returns are submitted on paper forms, this is the last date when they must arrive in the tax office.
  • October 2016 Employer’s contributions, Other withheld taxes and source taxes and Tax on insurance premiums: if Periodic tax returns are submitted on paper forms, this is the last date when they must arrive in the tax office.
  • If your filing period is the Quarter: July – September 2016 (VAT, Employer’s contributions, other withheld taxes and source taxes): if Periodic tax returns are submitted on paper forms, this is the last date when they must arrive in the tax office.
  • November 14th
  • September 2016 VAT, seafarer’s employer’s contributions and Lottery tax: last date for the electronic filing of the Periodic tax return, due date for tax payment.
  • October 2016 Employer’s contributions, other withheld taxes and source taxes and Tax on insurance premiums: last date for the electronic filing of the Periodic tax return, due date for tax payment.
  • If your filing period is the Quarter: July – September 2016 (VAT, Employer’s contributions, Other withheld taxes and source taxes): last date for the electronic filing of the Periodic tax return, due date for tax payment.
  • November 21th
  • Last date to submit the VAT EU Recapitulative Statement for October (for selling goods and services in the EU).
  • November 22th
  • November 23th
  • Due date for prepayments of income tax.
  • November 25th
  • Due date of the first instalment of outstanding tax for 2015 (concerns other than corporate taxpayers). If you have a second installment to pay, its due date is 1 February 2017.
  • November 29th
  • The 2015 tax refunds to individuals are directly deposited to taxpayers’ bank accounts (concerns other than corporate taxpayers). If the Tax Administration does not have the individual taxpayer’s bank account number saved in the database, the refunds is paid on 7 December 2016 as a cashable money order at OP bank offices.
